In the early spring of 2023, I noticed a sharp contrast between plants in full bloom and others appearing lifeless. I wanted to use nature in this unique time of year to comment on the cycles of life and the way that life and death are intertwined. Life and death can only exist together, and I believe merge more than we notice. This experimental film piece was projected onto the Portman sculpture at Georgia Tech, an abstract, looping, intertwined structure further suggesting the entanglement of these constructs, often considered opposite and disparate.
